Ah yeah, that sounds right. And 100% agreed on the wasted opportunity; I’m wondering if the issue is that McDonald’s in particular has data that says that their customers are primarily concerned with price, and not quality? They’ve had quite a few solid options in the past (the Angus burger that my wife won’t stop

Lol, touché

Sorry, to be clear, I love meat, and will choose it 99% of the time; I’m not arguing the benefits of not eating meat, I’m just saying the idea here is to give the cows (since we’re talking about these burger-subs) a break and not eat it 24/7. It’s just nice to have an alternative that’s A) lower in cholesterol (I

I didn’t mean to imply they weren’t, I mostly just meant that in a place this (over)packed, “within a mile” can put you in a lot of different areas. River North is quickly becoming an extension of the Loop in terms of the workforce, I think.

I’m not rendering judgement on veggie burgers themselves, I’m just saying that there’s a reason Beyond and Impossible have blown up; burgers that don’t taste like meat clearly don’t have the widespread appeal of those that do. In terms of being better for the enviroment, this is what I meant:

If they’re less than a mile from Rainforest Cafe, they could also just be in the Loop like half the city’s workforce.

Yeah, honestly sounds good to me.

You know, I’m not necessarily the prototypical AV Club commenter (you can tell by the fact that I’m still gray), but I gotta say, I’m pretty surprised by this take. The Carpenter version has a great sense of tension, an excellent soundtrack (it’s a John Carpenter movie, after all), and the practical effects are both

Telesto, the Destiny universe’s true final boss.

I’m honestly not sure, because it’s been forever since I had a McChicken.

“No one eats fast food burgers anymore because they want to”

Yeah, good point.

Yeah, breakfast is the deal I make with my body for showing up to work each morning.

Honestly, as a fan of McD’s breakfast in general (I usually go with a bacon, egg, cheese biscuit, but the McGriddles are good too), I was excited to try these, and then pretty damn let down when I tried ‘em. I personally found the chicken itself pretty wack, and given that I actually like the chicken in some of their

Yeah, that’s more than enough for me; I tend not to expect too much from horror games, since a lot are kind of schlocky (like their movie counterparts).

Yeah, I kind of felt the same way. It was goofy and over the top (Cage is in it, so that shouldn’t be too big of a surprise), but I can definitely see the Thing connection. And any sort of Lovecraft-based story is going to pique my interest.

Don’t get me wrong, I’ve never liked Nintendo’s approach to online services. But I also can’t think of many services comparable to Pokemon Bank, where you’re dedicating a server to what are essentially hundreds (close to a thousand, now) of different “characters” with tons of data unique to both each character, their

Always wanted to try Call of Cthulhu, so I’m excited for that one. Coincides nicely with the latest Nic Cage acting masterpiece, Color Out Of Space as well (an HP Lovecraft story).

Bank launched in the beginning of 2014 for NA users; I’d be cool with 6 years of Home. I also have to think that at some point they’ll stick with one of these services, if only because it’ll be easier than continually developing new ones (especially if they’re also creating mobile apps).

Yeah, it’s a little weird that GTS is only going to be on the app; it feels like they’re trying to push both (hence some features being only on one or the other). GTS being something from older games, and now not being usable on the actually game system itself is an interesting decision.
