I’m betting the main reason is ‘floor plan”. All the cars on the lot are financed from the factory. And get paid off when sold-with a couple percent per month. So there is big incentive to get a car off the lot that is costing the dealer. A new car from the factory wouldn’t be clearing up the stuff they are paying on

The top mounted cameras are awesome. They give a great view. BUT—not the drivers actual view. They both had better been looking on how they planned on keeping their own wheels on the track. Not what the other may do.

Never have I spent more time watching so few cars on the track! (Including Indy F1!)
