They do. Kind of more than you would expect. I just checked my dealer and they have 18 X5s in stock. 8 of them are rear wheel drive.

I doubt it. I bought a brand new Civic Si in 1986 for 8200 bucks.

Fuck off, you bootlicking piece of shit.

Right.

No. They are never as clever as people think they are.

People that live in the desert year round in the middle of nowhere are a different breed, man. I’ve been to Salton Sea, Slab City and other places up round Joshua Tree where some characters live. Sometimes you’ll see full on off the grid homes and the like, sometimes trailers “protected” by old Army camo, etc..

You want to see a couple things out that way that are really wild, check out Salvation Mountain and Slab City. There’s a link in the below for the latter.

For the double buy thing - In normal markets (which we appear to not be in now) I could only see that working MAYBE if you already had a relationship with a particular dealer/sales person. I’ve been able to use that to my slight advantage before, but even then it wasn’t that big a deal. More like it streamlined the

In the USA, policing is absolutely inherently racist. I queued up where the explanation starts. You have to view on YT, because of the weird thing about age-restrictions.

Traffic cops and beat cops are not stopping crime. Detectives solve serious crimes after the fact. If we can’t expect that beat cops are not going to execute someone involved in a minor infraction (if that) then we need to take a serious look at what policing means in this country.

Thinking of other people isn’t something Americans do very well..

Yep.  That is completely broken.

Dude, you could do worse.

The first new car I bought was a 1985 Civic Si hatch in white. That was a great car.

Easy one.

As an owner of the previous gen 4 series who was repulsed by the new one, I have to say that in this iteration, I don’t hate it.  Not sure why.  The proportions are pretty awesome.  I’ve always been a fan of the grand coupe, but my wife refuses to drive one, she likes the coupe.

So they don’t block heads of people from certain angles when filming.

I don’t know if we can count any of those movies, tho.  They literally defy every single law of physics (I guess that’s why they show them on SciFi network) so you’re suspending disbelief right from the start..  :)

John: C’mon, it’s Czechoslovakia. We zip in, we pick ‘em up, we zip right out again. We’re not going to Moscow. It’s Czechoslovakia. It’s like going into Wisconsin.
Russell: Well I got the shit kicked out of me in Wisconsin once.
