I dunno, T. Maybe we could get in on this boat thing. They say it’s going to be docked near some canal in Brooklyn. And there’s a Costco close by.
My first car was a ‘72 Pinto wagon. Root beer brown with the faux wood paneling on the side. This was in ‘82.
My next car was much more fun, it was an ‘86 Civic Si hatch.
Admittedly, mine have been very busy destinations for business/pleasure the top 3 being San Jose, PHX and Chicago..
Man, that’s so odd. I mean, I’ve been flying almost once a month on SW for about the last 10 years for work/pleasure. I can’t remember but maybe a handful of times where the plane was not almost full or full.
I literally clotheslined a dude trying to do that on one flight.
I saw him out of the corner of my eye in my aisle seat trying for a sprint to the front - I stuck out my arm while standing and said “one row. at a time. wait your turn.” Was a youngster and he said “ok, dad”. I was like, that better be the last thing out…
Was thinking the same thing. Also under the radar for a lot of people is Dark Passage. Great Bogart/Bacall movie.
Damn. My BMW dealer charges 150 bucks for a full synthetic change.
Alaska Airlines sent a replacement plane to fly all 176 passengers onboard to Seattle on the same day, along with a refund and an additional $1,000.
I agree. My mom had a first gen PT and I thought it was a POS right from the get go. I remember her telling me on the phone that she was going to order one. Which was odd, as she never cared about any particular kind of car, they were for utility only. She liked it, so that’s all that mattered, I guess.
I think it…
Still.. I have a 2019 X5 that tips the scales at 5000 lbs. 5500, tho - that’s a lot. That said, I do like it. I don’t have the budget for a 120K vehicle, but if I did, I’d consider it.
I’d actually forgotten all about those. Clearly for good reason.

The one that came through my neighborhood yesterday was playing “Jingle Bells” as he drove by..
Exactly one year ago.
Obligatory:
This.
We need better regional transit, not this and not the high speed rail under construction in its current form, IMO. To me, that is money better spent.
