I don’t think so. Seems like a great truck for the people I mentioned in my above comment who are currently using trucks to haul stuff around. I don’t think you’ve thought this through.
I’m not so sure about your last statement.
For some reason, the newest Costco gas near me is generally not that busy. Even when we shop on Friday evening. I used to work near one and I would run over there mid morning when it was quiet, which was nice. ATM, a full tank for me is 6 bucks less there than the next closest top tier station.
We tried to buy in that zip the same year and got knocked out of every single transaction because I had a contingency - closing my condo sale.
This. They just gave a ton of people a reason to go buy an X5. I’m sure these are nice cars, but I’d take the BMW over it any day of the week.
I also live in San Diego. The market is bonkers. I think I know where you live (roughly) based on what you said about the neighborhood, so it’s even crazier there. We live east of you a couple miles.
I’ll take your word for it. We don’t have Jimmy Johns here and I wouldn’t eat Subway on a bet. :)
Yea, as soon as the news hit about the pipeline, they started jacking prices here in Southern CA, too. I filled up a couple weeks ago at Costco so I’m good for a while since I work from home. Using the gas buddy app on my phone, I can see that there are stations charging as much as 3.99 for 87 and 4.59 for 91.. …
It’s a goddamned wonder that cars get sold at all sometimes. One would think that the best way to move product is to review all offers from people walking in and people inquiring from the internet or over the phone. I know that dealers want to also be the place that finances the transaction AND services the vehicle…
We have friends that bought a Sprinter-based RV pre-covid. Then a year later they moved into a bigger house with a bigger mortgage and wanted to sell the RV. They sold it a couple weeks ago for 7K more than they paid for it..
I had to ditch ours. They didn’t save as much space as I wanted compared to the comfort. We have a queen size air bed/mattress we use in our tent and it compresses down small enough to fit in a reusable grocery bag. Just used it this last weekend up in the mountains camping.

No, I assumed he’ll be driven. But generally cars in Japan (and in the UK where they are made) are right-hand drive. Hence the question.
Oh, I didn’t see that mentioned in the article. But if that is the case, it makes sense.
I assume this is for him to use (be driven around in) in Japan. Why is it not right-hand drive?
everything is pointing at the driver
The watch world has gone completely mad. I used to be into it quite a bit (on a lower level) And have a handful of things I procured over time. The early 70's Speedmaster I bought in the late 90's for 900 bucks in its current excellent shape and relatively recent overhaul is likely worth 10 times that. I have a 1966…
Should be fine by August (hopefully).
