Last time we were in NYC we stayed two blocks down on Houston Street from Katz’s and went there immediately after landing for a late dinner. I’m also a fan of Sarges and 2nd Ave Deli. Both have great chicken soup, IMO (along with their sandwiches, of course)
Friend of mine bought a 2020 Model 3. He loves it, but his previous car was a shit box. I drove it last time I was in AZ and was thoroughly underwhelmed for the most part. Aside from the stupid giant screen that controls EVERYTHING, it did not feel that well put together at all. Thing was rattling and squeaking like a…
I disagree. I mean, they already have a “full size” sedan, a smaller sedan and the Model X. Small hatch just makes sense. Hell, they SHOULD have made the 3 with a lift back, IMO.
They should make a small hatch around the size of a Golf. That would be cool.
Love the green, love the yellow. I have a feeling the dealers will all get stocked with white, black and silver/grey, tho.. Still can’t abide the front.
No one is investment shaming. If that was directed at me. This is based on experience and knowledge of money management.
I think we’re basically saying the same thing. I just left out the savings part. Yes, unfortunately, someone working at best buy may not have the means with which to save for retirement. Which is also an indictment on how service industry people are paid..
I should have added that yes, one should - if possible - fund an emergency account that is liquid. I still stand by my statement that funding a retirement account (personally mine are in mutual funds) makes more sense than playing around putting money in individual stocks in a taxable account.
But he’s got money to invest in individual stocks? That money would be better if directed to an IRA.
I’d be interested if the wing on the back was bigger.
When I hear people talking about stuff like this, it makes me cringe. NO ONE should be investing in individual stocks until they are fully funding in a diversified manner whatever retirement accounts they have available to them. That may mean only an IRA, that may mean an IRA and 401K. Whatever.
All of this.
We can’t leave, no one will have us. But believe me, if I could pull it off (which is difficult with a job and a mortgage) I would fucking leave in a heartbeat for an actual civilized country. I’m less than 10 years from retirement, but the best thing that someone young and just starting out could do would be to get…
Have you never seen Blues Brothers??
That seems like a lot of money.
Is the factory in Gilroy, CA?
I guess it boils down to how I like to travel. I have been to Europe 5 times. Other than the ten days we spent in Italy across two cities, every other time we spent an entire week in one city. I like to walk and explore and really get to know a place. That being said, I could be convinced to do one of those European ri…
