I’ve lived in CA my whole life and will absolutely admit that there are some serious issues to address when it comes to income inequality - which is what you are talking about boils down to. But your simplistic view of why these problems exist are just slightly more complicated than “left vs right” policies.

Yep.  I’ve driven it several times over the years and it’s unbelievably beautiful.  Last time was 2015, I think.
