Perfect... I did the gearbox and diff oil at 22.5k and other than that I’ve just done oil changes. It’s been awesome.

Yeah I’m pretty sure it does have the air leveling suspension but in the aid it said the air pump wasn’t working anymore, so I guess it’s just acting like a standard suspension now.

Yeah but even being pushed off a cliff, vi would be greater than 0. But then really it would take time for the car to go vertical so the drag would be worse and it would end up even slower

Yeah for a northern car it’s incredible. They must have washed it every snowfall. It was a single owner car. The guy’s son works at a Chevy dealership so they put a new trans in when the original went out at 180k. They’ve also replaced the optispark. Your vertical velocity wouldn’t change. If you count the resultant then you get the square root( (horizontal v - drag*time)^2 + (David’s math)^2 ). The sticker just says “off a cliff” and doesn’t specify initial velocity.

Well it piqued my curiosity and I started googling. “Corvette” engine, posi, better gears, tons of cooling. Also not the typical rusted out truck or sketchy van. Wood paneling FTW!

Under 80s laws car companies either needed airbags or some way to force people to wear seat belts, hence the automatic ones. The problem is that there was nothing stopping you from not putting the lap belt on, and crashing with only the shoulder belt actually increased chance of injury

hmmmmmmm maybe because the roads are flooded that the mythical supply won’t fall out of the sky to counter the price gouging and people are just trying to survive
