I’ve had kinja posts shared to main blogs, but as far as I know there’s no pressure on even the large community blogs (like oppositelock to Jalopnik) to pump out a certain amount of content. There also not featured/linked to on the main Kinja hub and I don’t think they get targeted advertising

Yes. There are motorized seat belts that tighten during some event like this. They aren’t as fast as the regular pretensioner, so they’re still supplementary.
