Your garsquashroom reminds me of the Kambouchacorn that we made for my vegetarian brother last year for Christmas Eve. We stuffed a kaboucha squash with an acorn squash with a tasty layer of maple glazed nuts in between. While it came out a little dry, it was quite the sight to behold.
