Of course most aren't' worth upgrading, 100mhz bump is nothing you will ever really notice for the average user.

I don't always agree with the "build it yourself" I've hand built my last dozen or so PC's when you toss in an OS and such and you'll frequently spend more. I suggest a lower end model (small HD and RAM) and upgrade that on your own., add ram / video etc after the fact.

250gb class SSD's are under $150 these days..
