It weighs 300lb less than the outgoing model. Thats why it’s faster then the outgoing one.

I had 2 Geo’s they were great durable little trucks, the X-90 is an oddball, 2 seater, but 35 MPG and you can beat the snot out em all day long and they just keep on keeping on. Great little city commuter car, unstoppable in the snow, and with some light mods fairly capable off-roaders as well. 10/10 wold drive one…
It revamped a long gone segment, I believe that AMC with the Eagle invented this segment.
Ooops nevermind...
This always makes me cringe, one stray rock and BOOM, why do people think this is a good idea? Because racecar??
I think VAG, especially in the US, keeps the VW brand cheap and crappy, so everyone will buy the Audi / Porsche brands. Why make a fancy VW that competes with the overpriced Audi / Porsche version? Look at the Cayenne, even the base V6 version prices a fair buck above the Toureng which essentially the same car. Base…
I had a early 80's Nissan, 2wd, xtra-cab, 4 cyl, 5 speed, super great little truck, back when small pickups were actually small, super gas mileage, not a total slug, handled great and took every bit of abuse we could throw at it. One of my favorites, no frills hard working rigs.
For whatever reason the CJ’s never got the hate the samurai dud, there were hundreds of deaths and injuries for decades with them as well and AMC paid out millions in lawsuits, but nobody talks about that.
Suzuki finally won that lawsuit.. far too late though.
Samurai and CRX two of my fave all time cars I owned. Of coure my Sammy had a 1.6L EFI swap, and my CRX (was orig an 1.3L Carb) had a 1.5L PGMFI swap.
They still make them, well their offspring, the Jimny. Just n/a in ‘Murica.
Samurais weigh in about 2200lb.
Why not just LSx it??
Don’t these cars have the electric parking brake that shouldn’t do this?
Both still look quite serviceable still though.
So about the same as their parent company?
I drove a 91 Chevy Cavalier for a few years, of course it was that same aqua green metallic every car was in 1991, at least it was a 5 speed and a coupe... OK IT WAS FREE, am I good now?
1" coil spacers and flip the front shock mounts...
Pk now I need to see a 356 in full dune buggy mode.
Calmini 6" kit and some 32's and you’ll go anywhere. Same chassis as the Tracker/Sidekick.
