You’re missing something very important. Anyone born and or raised for the majority of their childhood is from Montana. This guy is an easterner. He has lived in Montana for 20+ years but he’s not *from* Montana.

He ran for governor and lost last November and ran for office before that. This is different from the national election. Gianforte will always be from New Jersey.

I grew up in North Idaho and I don’t understand why anyone in Montana would vote for this guy. He’s a rich guy from New Jersey. He doesn’t represent Montana values.

What perplexed me is why a guy from New Jersey thinks Montana will elect him. He keeps trying, he lost the governor’s race in November, but I don’t see it. This guy is an outsider.

A lot of these people, the rank and file, aren’t extraordinarily wealthy I don’t understand how someone from a middle class background could be so bind. The complete lack of empathy is both sad and frightening.
