Lol you think we’re gonna win 2018 or 2022? That’s some creative reasoning you’re using there.

This is some wonky logic you’re using.
That’s true of plenty of veterans that were brought along to the world cup on other teams. That doesn’t mean the US was a better team by not having him on the bench. You’re telling me when Altidore went down you wanted to see Aron Johannsson on the pitch more than Landon?
First of all - I’m sorry you work 74 hours a week. That sucks.
why did you bold the spoilers?
Question - assuming the US is the biggest draw at this WC - wouldn’t it have made sense financially for FIFA not to put them in the “tough” side of the bracket?
I hope these guys can hold their own with Trey —- but I heard from a friend they’re pretty decent themselves so fingers crossed!!!
I despise having my plate in front of me when I’m done eating, at home I push it to the far side of the table. My wife thinks I’m weird, whatever.
3 points for a win, 1 point for a tie. No OT.
This is probably as positive an endpoint for us as we’ll get, so I’ll accept the difference in opinion and the fact that we both ultimately want the same things.
You keep talking about the illegal sex trade when no one is talking about this. Everyone having discourse with you is talking about engaging with sex workers in an ethical and safe way.
You’re confusing my opinion of oil workers with your opinion of oil workers. I really don’t have a problem with oil workers, just like I don’t have a problem with sex workers. I do have a problem with the industry as I think it does tremendously more harm to the treatment of women by men than it does to help.
The problem is not knowing whether the escort you hire is doing it consensually or through some means of coercion. I have read several pieces of feminist advocacy for sex work, I’m not naive on the subject, but illegal sex work is inextricably tied with sex-trafficking, and this is a point that is often not mentioned…
I have no problem with sex workers or sex work and totally agree it should be legalized 100%. Promoting it to horny, lonely, guys though perpetuates the objectification of women. I understand it’s a fine line to tread, but I really think that ultimately sex work is a negative on the fight for women’s rights.
Meanwhile, on Deadspin, they’ve written a guide on how to score a prostitute (with tips on how treat her nicely! how progressive!).
Follow up question - how does it feel to be competing with The Chive for readership?
So it’s everybody’s job to contribute positively to the fight on sexism? I didn’t get that memo, sorry.
Legality of a something and the promotion of it are two different things.
wtf deadspin.
well then we’re agreed that shit happens no matter what style you play (even though Germany plays a more direct style than Brazil does)
