I know it’s subjective, but shit — this is not ugly. Especially in person. I understand the comment about the grill — it could be better (looks a little too much like a mustache), but it’s still downright gorgeous in my opinion. That said, it probably doesn’t look quite as good on fire, so I agree with the writer —

Cool. I’d really like to see what amount of energy they anticipate this will create though in a typical 20 minute drive. It seems to me that it’s likely of very minimal.

I still hate this idea. A lot.

I’ll add that I’m pretty sure of this, as whenever the wheel looks to be stopped, it’s also not smoking. I think it’s the diff giving torque to the other side because it’s spinning more and won the tug of war.

And Audi R’s, for that matter.

Love watching the VWs beat up on the Porsches because of the family ties. Very satisfying.

I don’t know about this wagon wheel thing. My thought is that all of the shots where you see a wheel not moving is just us looking at whatever side held traction for a moment longer than the wheel on the other side. Once the other side broke loose and started spinning, it then sucked up all the torque through the

Totally agree. In my book, it simply must have the spoiler, with which it will always be a legend.

The problem here is you should have stopped reading at “I would get it with an auto.”

Love it. So, in recent news, yeah, we sort of, not exactly, well, honestly, we totally knew about the diesel emissions cheat thing.... but you want to hear something really offensive? — a few of our guys had an expensive corporate event, and we’ve really hammered down on them. See!

Sort of reminds me of when a really good looking star has a kid, and they resemble the star a whole lot, but somehow just aren’t attractive. That, if this thing were the child of the AC Cobra.

And air travel. Good lord.

I’ll also note that the infant seat was a bit better of a fit than when we did the regular carseat facing backwards (we try to keep them backwards as long as possible). The height of the regular carseat made it impact the top of the front seat.

Cool. I admit that I’ve been surprised when the larger SUVs and minivans don’t fit the seat that way — I always assumed they would. We traded the e46 for a 2010 Audi wagon, and when we had our second son and he had to be rear-facing, the only option was to put him behind the passenger seat. That allowed us to both sit

Holy shit, I can’t read. As to whether you can get it rear-facing behind the driver’s seat with it all the way back, no way, no how. You can’t even do that in most large SUVs, because the rear facing configuration is usually pretty reclined, and thus impacts the shoulder area of the car. Sorry for the ADD there in my

I’m sure it does. I’m 6'5" and two cars ago, when I had my first child, my wife’s e46 wagon had enough room to have both his infant cradle and later his full-size carseat turned backward in the middle seat without ever cramping me in the driver or passenger seat. I could also fit in the back seat on either side of his

I’ll post this here and in reply to MikaelVroom. Love that 904. I didn’t even know about them until I visited the Revs Institute a few years ago and thought they were Dinos.

Yup. If you have to ask...

Dude — the kid is dead. Not sure this is the right opportunity to make fun of his car.
