The majority of people upset over the “disrespect” shown by not standing for the anthem also proudly fly the Confederate flag next to the Stars and Stripes.... So let’s grade their anger on the idiotic curve it deserves.

Lemme check my notes: so you have to stand for the anthem out of respect, but it’s cool to mock Vietnam vets for being POWs.

We will have to come up with a “140.4" car decal now as well.

They want to be recognized for setting a world record even though the bar was lowered! What are they, middle-aged white men?

It’s exactly these kinds of shenanigans that keep me from competing in Ironman events. That and a life of slothful lethargy and general ill health due to poor diet, plethoric bong hits and excessive alcohol intake.

About half of the cyclists were going the wrong direction anyway.

I wonder how funny that boy’s own parents think this picture is.

Liberal gun-guy checking in to say again, thanks fellow gun owners for doing more for the cause of gun control than any actual gun control group. Fucking idiot.

In all seriousness, Feely is a color commentator/analyst on CBS Sports. Curious to see if the network takes any ‘corrective measures’ in response to this.

I tweeted a response about how waving a gun at a teenager isn’t exactly the best example of responsible gun ownership, and people are going nuts. There’s a lot of “It was a joke, GAWD!” and “He’s not ‘waving’ it!” and “Find something real to get offended by!”

Why do some gun owners insist on playing with their guns. It’s a tool not a toy, perhaps if that fact were made more clear in the process of purchase you’d have less children playing with their guns like this imbicile.

Not harmless. Girls aren’t possessions.

Threatening to murder teenagers is the height of right wing comedy

It’s not harmless, it’s misogynist, bullying bullshit. Parents don’t own their kids and fathers don’t get to control their daughters’ sex lives with violence.

This is the dumbest, dumb shit take of the month. Lance Armstrong built legions of disciples who swore he was the Jesus Christ of fitness. So..yeah...that and he ruined several other people careers AND dumped his wife. But, the Postal Service made more money!

It would have been a gross injustice if Armstrong was financially ruined by the lawsuit

Fuck that guy, seriously. He ruined careers, he ruined lives, all because he insisted not only on cheating himself, but forcing other people to cheat as well. And when he got caught, he basically told everyone else to STFU. No remorse for what he’d done to anyone else, everything was just about him.

“It would have been a gross injustice if Armstrong was financially ruined by the lawsuit”

Gross injustice, my ass. Talk to the critics he sued into silence for telling the truth about him, if you’re looking for gross injustice.

Due to Armstrong’s utterly abhorrent behavior toward anyone who ever (rightfully) confronted him (including attempted financial ruin), I’ll respectfully disagree that it would have been “grossly unjust” for Armstrong to be financially ruined by this suit. Fuck bullies, man.
