Suffered much of this delivering pizza.

I’d run for this price.

Let’s hope the puns that get posted here are gouda!

I do, and had a pretty damn good one just the other day at a winery near Gilroy. And maybe I should visit Portugal simply because I’m of Portuguese descent...

More like this afternoon.

Looks like this year Mrs. DTOTA and I will be able to take our anniversary trip this fall (our anniversary is in September, but we usually do the trip in October since I’m busy working races in September). And usually we travel someplace where there are wineries. Our 2019 trip was to Paso Robles and I wouldn’t mind

Path of least resistance.

Easy.

Well, qualifying turned out pretty much as I expected. Enerson’s out, Kimball is out, Dixon is on pole. I should start putting money on this stuff...

Well, they did mention that Will Power was in the last-row shootout. And I was surprised in light of the fact that he has the most poles among active drivers and is second only to Mario Andretti all-time.

Wow. I know Team Penske didn’t look great in qualifying practice, but I figured at least one of them would make the Fast Nine. Instead, one of them is in the Last Row Shootout.

Enerson gets bumped, along with either Charlie Pinball Kimball or Dalton Kellett.

Yup, you truly didn’t experience shitty cars unless you were born before the mid 1970s.

Funny - my recollection of the back seat in a GM A-body was that it lacked leg room.

One thing GM definitely did right back in those days was air conditioners.  My ‘80 Cutlass kept me nice and cool even in the triple-digit summer heat of Imperial Valley.

Right.  I had to get up in the morning at 9:30 at night - half an hour before I went to sleep...

At least by the time yours was sold, it didn’t smell like swamp ass.  Or to a lesser extent than it would if it had velour seats.

I had a 1980 Olds Cutlass Brougham 4-door (one of the nicer trims if memory serves) and I still remember those fixed rear windows and power rear vent wings - one of which was broken at the time we bought the car. Another thing I remember about that car was it had a joystick inside the car to adjust the driver’s side

Both of my cars are “older”, and I don’t feel a need for a rearview cam on those. But last year when I had a rental car (my Miata was in the body shop) I really appreciated the rearview cam on the Altima I rented. The ass end of that car is high enough to hide a seven-year-old, and mirrors don’t help with that.
