Dream Theater of the Absurd

I spent my early years living in a desert climate (Imperial, CA). All that sun and heat can be hell on a car’s paint job and tires.

A friend of mine let me take his AP1 for a couple of fun runs at an autocross way back when.  That is, and will probably remain, my entire experience with an S2000.  But it was lots of fun while it lasted.

I’m not crazy about corn dogs to start with.  That thing isn’t getting anywhere near my mouth.

I would have thought that would be a beige Aztek...

Are you sure it isn’t a LeStingre?

There is a fine line between genius and insanity.  Torch is often straddling it.

That’s a Bee-uick?

Thanks for sticking up for us readers, Jason.

I had almost forgotten the Ford EXP (and its Mercury stablemate the LN7) existed.  And now that I’m thinking about it, I remember why - Ford took an uninspiring shitbox and made it less practical.

Put that coffee down!

Spooning can lead to forking. :)

This fills me with nostalgia - but not enough to pay fifteen large for it. ND.

Okay, so apparently some people think it’s not cool to lick your fingers.

Yup.

Best post I’ve seen all day.  Period.

I never built it into an off-roader, but I did take my ‘85 Chevy Sprint for a drive through some sand dunes one night several years back. Even stock, it did a LOT better than I thought it would. I had to stop a couple times so my buddy in his Ranger (2wd) could catch up, in fact.

I find myself occasionally driving with one hand at 6 o’clock when I need to give the other one a rest.

I’ll cast another vote for 9 and 3. I feel like I have the most control of the car with my hands in that position.

I know of at least four In-N-Outs here in San Jose - and one of them is only about a mile from home.  I probably eat there more often than I should.

You shut your filthy mouth!
