I knew I was in over my head when I realized my girlfriend’s emotional issues were far worse than she first let on.... no, wait, that’s a different topic altogether.
Either that or a few keys of coke in the hatch...
I could never own one of these. The brand sounds too much like that thing I do right after brushing my teeth.
I was on the configurator a few minutes ago. I think I’d go with Red Mist, even if it is an extra grand over base price.
As far as what the market will bear, this could be considered a fair price in light of supply and demand for Corvettes. But I can hold out for a while; I’d rather not pay for a Corvette PLUS a well-equipped Malibu unless I’m taking possession of both cars.
That popularity will taper off as more people get vaccinated, though...
I hear that. Here in San Jose, the In-N-Out at Blossom Hill and Santa Teresa always has a line that wraps around to the driveway entering the lot from Santa Teresa Boulevard. Fortunately they opened another location near the Lowe’s on Cottle Road, and the line there is much shorter (though it’s still fairly long most…
I mentioned elsewhere in the comments here that I had an ‘85 Chevy Sprint (which the Geo Metro replaced, for those of you wondering). I managed to pop two engines in that car; the first because the oil pickup screen had some gunk on in that was enough to drop oil pressure once the level was low enough and the second…
LOL
I can tell you a thing or two about “underpowered”, because I spent a good part of my early years in small cars from the ‘70s and ‘80s. First was a ‘74 Ford Pinto, which on trips between Imperial and San Luis Obispo, CA could only maintain 45 mph up the Grapevine in third gear (it had a 4-speed manual). That was…
I’m not exactly “mourning”, but I have gotten a fair amount of seat time in the company’s Fusion Energi. It’s far from engaging to drive, but it does everything you expect it to. If I were looking for a sedan and it didn’t have to be a sporty one, I’d consider buying one of these.
Even Satan wouldn’t claim this monstrosity.
He shouldn’t have a license, but isn’t he a cutie?
They are starting to go up. And Tigers aren’t a whole lot more common than Cobras. Still they’re pretty cool cars. A buddy of mine has one, along with a few stories about how he outran cops in it back in the day.
A burning question.... about something that burns when you eat it. Well played.
I can agree with you on Florida, since it’s the only one of those three states I’ve visited. It improved my opinion of drivers in the SF Bay Area...
My sister went through this sort of thing. She has a mild form of epilepsy, and between getting it under control with medication and her memories of Dad constantly browbeating her older brother (me) when he started driving, she didn’t get her license until she was 18.
If my recollection of the story is correct, AC approached Carroll Shelby to fit an American V8 into the Ace.
