And most of the time it *is* a man committing tomfoolery in Florida.

Fair point, but whoever is buying an ‘82 Supra probably wants that specific car.

It’s a nice survivor, but not $11,500 worth of nice survivor.

I like to do mine with sharp cheddar carved off a block.  It does take a while to melt (best done over low heat after the bread is a nice golden brown), but it’s delicious.  I usually add some mustard to my grilled cheese sandwiches as well.

Greetings, fellow W210 owner!  I have a ‘02 E320, which I bought for my wife six years ago.  I haven’t had to do anything major on it, but for what I have worked on it’s fairly easy.

Ten feet is not especially long for an adult python - some species are known to grow to over twenty feet.

I know what you mean about how cold the northern US can get at this time of year.  I remember driving from San Jose to Topeka in 2001 to run the Solo Nationals and seeing snow on the ground in Laramie, WY - in September.

Based on the picture, I can’t tell whether it’s a 350 configured the same as it was in a 1988 C1500 (okay with CARB) or a later C1500 (also okay with CARB) or something else entirely (not okay with CARB). Hence my comment that I probably wouldn’t be able to register it in California.

I don’t care for the sunroof, and the engine swap probably makes this truck impossible to register in California.  But it ain’t bad for four grand. NP.

A friend of mine ran into the exact same situation when he bought a new F150 a few years ago. He lived in Livermore at the time, and they had to bring up a Super Cab longbed from southern CA. But his reasoning was that he wanted something that could haul plywood or dimensional lumber without leaving the tailgate open

Settle down, Beavis!

I know there at least used to be a Del Taco in Campbell (I live in San Jose), but the only one I know of for sure “near” me is in Fairfield. I swing by occasionally if I’m passing through, but I don’t make a special trip of it.

Now playing

Ricky Skaggs is a pretty good picker, but I prefer Albert Lee’s version of “Country Boy.”

“No Jacket Required by Phil Collins (don’t judge)“

If it’s as good as a Hass avocado, this would be much more economical for making guacamole.

If you have to have a roasted bird on the table for Thanksgiving and it’s a small gathering, why not roast a chicken?  Among other things, it has a much higher ratio of skin to meat.

Or, if you can find one, you can also hit Del Taco.  They have french fries, as I mentioned elsewhere in the comments.

And Del Taco also has french fries.  Their fries are pretty damn good too.

So this costs around four Changlis, right?
