I don’t get that either. My folks didn’t pack much for my sister and me for long trips. I was fine with a few books.

Our new fridge isn’t a “smart” model, but it does sound a chime if you leave a door open for more than a few seconds.

Can confirm.  We bought a new fridge two weeks ago, and after transferring the contents of the old one two it (minus whatever had spoiled) it ran continuously for over a day before it reached the set temperature.

I like olives in general, but it has to be said that not all olives are equal.  The canned black olives are at the bottom of my list.

I don’t own a smart refrigerator, so it probably doesn’t care one way or the other.
