Well put, Matt. One of the reasons I read and respect Jalopnik is because you don't kowtow to the automakers and always call bullshit when you see it.

Love the rear, the front, not so much.

I wish there were pics of it at ride height.

I want to wear it on my head as a helmet.

...with the rear tires doing most of the work during acceleration and braking, and the front tires providing grip through turns, the overall performance workload is distributed ideally: the front tires steer the car, the rear tires propel and stop the car.

I cannot figure out how to make the picture thing work.

This is a somewhat weird British thing, my 73 Jensen Interceptor's rear leaf springs were leather wrapped as well. They were filled with dried grease, I guess to keep them from ever squeaking or rusting.

That. Is. Badass.

That is a perfect example of a design disaster

*claps* Nice troll. You got me.

If they did, I would buy one. Doesn't make sense.

Just making an observation.

Not quite. No lockers, no 4:1 transfer case. Looks like D30 and 35s instead of the Rubi's D44s. It's more like a stripped down Sport.

Not to nitpick but 3.73 gears with a 2.72:1 low range? That's kind of weak. Put some 4.55s with a 4:1, now you're talking.

MAIL JEEP!

I put the windshield down once in a TJ. A lot of work and really no payoff. It kinda defeats the purpose of the roll cage too.
