Naw, actually Kotaku very happily starts from the premise of “Gamers are probably being jerks” in every article about discord in a community and only shifts to the weight of “Oh wait... this dev/publisher/etc sucks actually,” when there’s a ton of evidence for that. Look up the embarrassingly defensive BF 2042

The tone of this article comes across - overwhelmingly - as “ugh, these entitled GAMERS are immediately unhappy that they somehow didn’t get enough ‘content’ in their paid DLC”, and that is tone deaf. I expect Fox News to make fun of gamers, not Kotaku. Times changed?

Revenge of the Cartels in particular! I also saw some players comparing this DLC to the Headhunter packs, which were, what, $3?

As a long term Borderlands player, the biggest issue I have with this DLC is that this type of content was FREE in BL3.  The seasonal events had MORE content and more good gear than this did.  I think I did my first run in about 10 minutes.  It reuses environments and enemies and provides a boss fight that isn’t (yet)

As a FDA certified saltine myself, god white people are so fucking fragile.

They need to just bring all the other classes up to the Tricker’s level instead of nerfing the fun out of the class.

Absofuckinlutely.

But don’t you see, making things more bullet spongy will lengthen the life of the game somehow.

I thought it was hella fun

Oh come on.  Republican leadership *anywhere* won’t do anything to help.

That is all they took in over all those years. Now factor the expenses against this, and the sum dries up extremely quick.
A game company taking in 200 million/year can easily spend the majority of that on salaries (biggest part), rent and facility costs (in most cases second biggest part) and server infrastructure to

I live in North Texas, and last time I checked there’s a large complex of townhomes near me that still doesn’t have running water. They get water from a running fire hydrant.

Uh, probably

The following phrases are definitely capable of corrupting our youth and warping their fragile young minds!

Playing the last version of SSX Tricky was just heartbreaking. Trying to play Steep and being penalized for doing too many tricks too fast (?!) was beyond disappointing.

There are literally toggles that allow you to turn off mechanisms that were either introduced in THPS2 or later games. But you know, be salty.

SSX3 for me but if they want to slap all three (do we want to acknowledge the fourth?) in a package and sell it I’ll buy it.

I dream of a SSX Tricky remaster

Somehow, I never got into the THPS series, and since they are never ever going to release a remastered SSX Tricky, this sounds like a great way to fill that hole in my heart.  Very excited it lived up to expectations.
