You may want to reconsider? I think the writer missed some tutorials early on that explain exactly some of the issues they were having with understanding the system.

I’m not saying it’s simple, but the game does walk you through this stuff. It’s not hard to figure out how to proceed, either - one of the nice things

I feel like you might have turned off the tutorials, where it does actually walk you through quite a bit of this stuff specifically mentioned in this review. Off the top of my head, there’s a few popup tutorials that happen in your first few combats.

A pretty clear explanation of how armor works and how it impacts

I’m also pretty fine with the writing. And yes, I love Wasteland 2.

I find fascinating to read the comments here from people saying they’re not into these type of games, preferring more direction about how to play while, to me, a 34 year old guy who grew up playing the original Wasteland and a lot of other stuff that didn’t tell you how to play, this game sounds amazing.

I’d encourage every one to read the El Paso shooters manifesto, and if they’ve been paying close attention, not only will they hear echoes of Trump in the shooter’s essay, they will read the language of some Fox News hosts like Laura Ingraham, Tucker Carlson etc. Fox News should not be given a pass in terms of riling

Please do not have a 1/3p switch button.

I’m so torn on this because I hate first person games. I’m the guy that has to play Fallout in third person because I need to see the world around me and not just what’s in front. But I’ll give CDPR the benefit of the doubt since Wild Hunt is one of my favorite games ever. I just wish Cyberpunk had the Fallout 1st/3rd

I am loving it, but for a completely different reason. The moment I saw this I was like “would they? WOULD THEY?” and YES!! Gamefaqs is already well on its way with people crying salty salty tears over Naughty Dog making Elly a lesbian. THEY DESTROYED THE GAME, they say. I AM GOING TO DELETE THE ORIGINAL GAME, they

I find it baffling that EA didn’t bring a single trailer or even a screenshot of either Fallen Order or the Clone Wars stuff for Battlefront. Fallen Order especially was the most low key announcement I’ve ever seen for a Star Wars game.

if you are a fan of traditional battlefield modes, I could understand being worried this will split the playerbase.

Now playing

Super Bunnyhop actually did a great episode which, amongst other things, covers how the structure harmed the 1st game. Long story short, it was great for hardcore fans and regular gamers, terrible for everyone else. Especially the marketing departments.

The other thing the episodic format did was keep them in the press cycle consistently over that year. As well as making them pop up again and again with streamers. I thought it was actually quite brilliant. Either way, glad to see 47 back in business.

I can’t help but be bummed it’s not episodic. I know a lot of people complained for Season 1 but it ended up being a totally awesome dripfeed that respected the playerbase’s time and gave us incentive to explore every single level as much as possible.

Hell. Yes.
