I think a trial in the Senate would probably be closer than you think, with Mitch McConnell twisting exactly enough arms to keep Tump in office while sending signals that he COULD remove him if it comes up again. G/O Media’s willingness to tolerate the level of trolling is the irritating part. You have a dedicated base of users who are only here to drive people away, and they staff is just happy that the themed troll accounts are good for a half-dozen racist or harassing comments for every article.
