On top of everything else, he reclaimed the last name “Rocker” for decent humans everywhere.

I feel like you’re describing a completely different sport from the one I like to watch that’s called “ice hockey” with your utterly insane defense of how this played out.

Obviously I was kidding/trolling with the “I’m right and you’re wrong” comment.

You had me at “the Blues were a better team last night.” :)

Ah, here we are! I was counting the seconds before a Bruins homer would come at me. You didn’t disappoint.

I’m a Blues fan and I like your comment.  I hope your nonexistent victory celebration is joyful, safe, and filled with great memories (of 1970).

I’m going to call BULLSHIT on the idea that this was an “egregious no-call.” It wasn’t.

why are Little Richard and James Brown a team while the others are playing individually?

Chalmers Davis is my piano player and he was in Little Richard’s band for 23 years.  He said the whole band got a ton of mileage out of this.

Sometime in the early 90s I think.  (Don’t forget Lee Greenwood for good measure.)

Now playing

This is all entertaining, but here’s the greatest game show performance of all time (my piano player was in LR’s band at the time):

from this story by the player Berube slurred, Peter Worrell:

Holy shit.  For once, good sense prevailed.

The St. Louis Blues are going to the Stanley Cup Finals.

Done.

Then why is their record drastically better with Durant out of the lineup?

That’s fair I guess (the injury point), but it doesn’t change the fact that their chemistry is clearly better with Curry/without Durant. It’s not a commentary on Durant as a player or talent.

Counterpoint: the Warriors are 31-4 when Curry plays and Durant doesn’t.

The Nuggets and Blazers play basketball.
