I think there should be a punk band called Blogosphere Circle Jerk, and their CD release party (for the disc entitled "Navel Gazing Daze") should be at Kinja HQ.

This Cardinal fan has the utmost respect for Leyland. Hope he enjoys his retirement.
As a Cardinals fan, I am thrilled to see Deadspin going back, if only temporarily, to bashing teams I don't like.
I actually interpreted your post as "eight teams thought this was the least appealing matchup from among the ten teams." I'm going to choose to continue to interpret it that way.
Patriots/Cowboys in a romp. It's like deciding whether to root for syphilis or gonorrhea.
Where's my guide to giving a shit about Deadspin's opinions about the Cardinals? That would have to be an extremely well-written and insightful guide for me to give a shit about it.
I dunno... Depending on your TV set, they could look vaguely similar.
Awesome.
Too soon but +1 anyway
Where, exactly, does it say that? My reference, was to the OP, not Tim Marchman.
I can't love this post enough.
I definitely agree. I was just referring to the "Cardinals embarrassed the Dodgers" part, which Deadspin can't even own up to. I should say that I love Deadspin, Magary, and most of Magary's minions. It's required reading for me. But as another commenter pointed out, they have devolved into self-parody on this, to the…
Really, dude... While much of what you say is true, none of it negates the classlessness of not even being able to utter the name of the team who beat the Dodgers fair and square. Some growing up is in order.
Big media got this one right. Oh yeah, the Dodgers definitely did themselves no favors, especially young Master Puig, who had a date with karma last night. But when Michael Wacha puts on the kind of clinic he has this postseason, you would think even Deadspin would have the class to acknowledge it.
I like how you couldn't even mention the name of the team that beat their ass, or any of their players who played magnificently. The butthurt in Deadspinland must be strong this morning.
Wow. I don't know whether to curse you or thank you. I'll go with thank for now. :)
Fair enough. That was an unnecessary cheap shot. I am one of the few (I thought, anyway) Cardinal fans who doesn't dislike the Cubs... and I love Chicago. I am, however, curious about this dry humping of which you speak.
