The 2.7L makes more torque at a lower RPM - isn't that what pulls the load?  Your quip about horsepower isn't relevant here.

The article wasn’t clear if they ran the two trucks head-to-head on the same day or not. Unless they have a 5.3L in their long term test fleet, they probably tested the 5.3L sometime last year and the 2.7L now. I looked for what their “HFE” test is and where, but couldn’t.

Well,

The US06 results are also used in determining EPA fuel economy numbers.

Point taken, but when you’re RR and want a performance car, you just create a new one, ala Wraith.

This is like saying BMW’s M branding should go to Mini and AMG should go to Smart.

Some say that program was just too much to"take".

Launch mode!  In my car, I can choose any RPM between 3K and 6K.

Came here to make a Maximum Overdrive comment, leaving feeling dejected and alone

By adopting a recycled version of the "volt dance" to introduce it.  Look it up.

I bought a *new* 2017 coupe with 56 miles in September of 2018. Remember, the 4C was on this list last year too. If you look around, you’ll find some dealerships are willing to deal on brand new leftover 4Cs.

If it had a diesel shooting brake version I’d buy it immediately.

At one of several metro Detroit dealerships - once I figure out which I like best - and that’ll only be for any warranty work or scheduled bolt re-torques (yes, it’s a thing).

And?

Yeah, so drive one and get back to me. I’d bet you would think it was perfect with the DCT.

4C?

You’re totally missing out for a silly reason. I prefer manual transmissions, but I believe it would be a drawback in a 4C. With relatively low power output (compared to other performance vehicles) I think a manual transmission would take away from the fun driving experience. The DCT keeps boost up between shifts,

I can't read the title of this article without hearing "BOSU" in my head.

Nice share, Mack.

Profound.
