I haven’t seen the movie, but I imagine they fought for the same reason Jason fought Freddy...proximity. Jason got in Freddy’s way, Freddy fought back (or vice versa, I can’t remember). I don’t think evil spirits are overly discerning about who they destroy.

Retina is an Apple trademarked term for a class of their displays. If people have generalized this term or use it incorrectly, that’s not Apple’s fault. The word refers to a specific product, it’s not just a buzzword. Retina Displays are Apple products. Anything else is just a high resolution monitor.

I’ve never heard the terms deck, pivot, or disrupt used in technological discussions. I know what a pivot table is, but people I talk to just say table or chart. And people generally say presentation or show, maybe slides if you’ve been around a while. I’ve never heard deck.

Strange. I've used Ivory all my life and never noticed that it floats, nor have I ever heard that feature marketed. I've never noticed that other soaps don't float. Floatation is not an aspect of soap I've ever considered.

uBar doesn't radically alter the OS...or even the UI. It simply moves the dock to the right side of the screen, hides it, then puts an app switcher (like Windows task bar) at the bottom of the screen.

On iOS I use all the standard apps. They are more than sufficient for my needs (which are minimal). I only use 3rd party if there is no standard, like ESPN or banking.
