“he won’t go back on track unless it’s with his company’s C-1" - sounds more like a marketing ploy than anything else. I agree, he shouldn’t be riding a bike anymore, because he seems rather incompetent at it.
Agreed - I miss my 06 LGT 5-speed... that was a wonderful car. Too bad they stopped bringing that wonderful motor in the Legacy. The 3.6R is WAY overpriced, especially since my LGT made more power and torque with minor mods (stage 2). Lasted me 160k miles before I traded it in, and it was completely reliable all the…
Ick. I drive a 2018 RAV4 (base model) for work. One of the two worst vehicles I have ever driven (the other was a Camry base). The engine is nice, but the transmission is just plain awful... it kills any desire to drive and I can now see why Camry/RAV drivers are so terrible... because it makes you a terrible driver.
True... so I guess religion isn’t the answer to being good or moral either, huh?
Exactly.
I agree that the LIDAR and radar systems should have seen the pedestrian. No argument there.
Agreed. I remember when people said American cars wouldn’t last 100k. My parents had all GM vehicles until recently, and all of them went 100k without any issues. All of my cars (except for an 87 Dodge Daytona Tubo) made 160k before I got bored with them and sold them. And that’s with me racing some of them at the…
I don’t understand why we expect the car (or driver) to magically work around the pedestrian in all cases? In the air or on the sea, the larger vehicle generally has the right of way, because it’s simply not as maneuverable as the smaller one. The larger vehicle can’t always make an emergency move to avoid the…
I wonder if it’s not legal in MA, because Ch 90 section 19 of the MGL states: “Notwithstanding the provisions of this section, no passenger motor vehicle shall be operated on any way if such vehicle has the side wall or thread of any tire projecting outward beyond the outer portion of the fender or side body panel,…
That was the question I used to always ask and never get an answer to. The short answer is that some of the fancier ones (we bought a Costco USPA6800) have air dryers. These don’t get ALL the water off, but they do improve the situation.
I will say, I posted on the previous thread and then decided to point him to it and to expand on what I had said there. Amazingly enough, he actually responded to me within 24 hours... something I totally did not expect. He also engaged Cadillac Executive support (due to the issues I faced) to allow me to speak about…
Easy - I swerved to avoid a drunk pedestrian crossing in the middle of the street on a rainy night. I then got pulled over because I was somehow speeding (the cop couldn’t see me for crap, and couldn’t have even been running radar on me since I was behind another vehicle).
I agree with the infrastructure issues... that’s my theory on why trucks are selling so much more than cars - because the roads are awful and tires are being blown out all the time. I lost one on my ATS on a relatively minor pothole.
Basically it’s because it would be unethical to properly and scientifically test nutrition - it would require a control group and a test group that is fully under scientific observation (ie, people in a zoo/aquarium). Because we can’t do that, we have to depend on self reported consumption which is highly inaccurate…
Actually, there is “official” timing for how long a yellow should be... the MUTCD: “Section 4D.26 of the 2009 MUTCD requires the duration of the yellow change interval to be determined using engineering practices, and indicates that such engineering practices can be found in two books published by ITE.”
Honestly, I WISH he would run un-armed into a hostile shooter situation. One can dream.
I use the thank-you-hazards all the time, and no one ever gets confused to the point of being hazardous. They may be wondering why I did it, but it’s not dangerous in any way. I learned this in Germany/Europe where people use this often.
Excellent - thank you. I see that the one I mentioned above is shown at the first link (fexofenadine + fruit juice)... bookmark!
That doesn’t just apply to supplements: Foods can cause interactions as well and simple antibiotics can cause yeast infections for many women, etc.
