Sounds like a Saturday night!
Tough, but fair.
Do you need a hug? Nothing in this game forces microtransactions on you. Do you even have it?
This is wrong. It takes less than an hour to earn enough to buy any production car, pretty much. There are Race cars which are more expensive, which are still easily within reach after afew hours of earning credits. There’s only a few ultra expensive cars (12 million etc) but almost everything in the game is a million…
How did they “break it”? The game is great and the only criticism that I see as valid is the online only requirement, which for most people isn’t that big of an issue outside of servers being down. The stink over micro transactions and credits is way over the top- you can easily earn enough to buy almost anything in…
Agree! But I wish you could gift cars to friends (maybe the roulette tickets as well?) It creates a reward for private/friends only races. GT5 had it and it was awesome!
You can easily earn a million credits in about an hour in GT7. The outcry over this is way overblown in my opinion. For many folks the acquisition of cars is part of the game, it gives you a goal to pursue. People who think this “forces” you into microtransaction are full of it. You paid for the game presumably…
I have an enormous crush on Michelle Yeoh and would happily watch her recite a technical manual for a microwave oven- that she’s an amazing actress is just bonus.
Me? I’m just still salty there’s no Lotus available. For myself the grind IS the game. I don’t want to easily afford all the cars, it’s part of the incentive to keep playing to earn new things. Forza will dump everything at your feet if that’s the experience you’re looking for, GT has pretty much always been a little…
I know! RoR2 is amazing, and even more so when you find out it was made by 2 dudes in college. I played it briefly over a friends place one night and went home and bought it shortly after. It’s better than I was hoping and I was expecting it to be very good. It’s not. It’s great!
GT 7, Risk of Rain 2 dlc...
Im astounded at the number of people who seem like they're experiencing a debit/credit machine for the very first time. It's 2022, this isn't new tech.
I don’t know, I’m weary of that high risk investment, I might loose all my money.
Shhhh! You're saying the secret stuff out loud!
Incontinentia is a lovely lady and I’ll not hear a bad word about her!
HOPPIN’ MAD QUINTUPLE IPA!!!!!
Same (on the Teutonic background and preferences) but I’ve had IPAs that I thought were decent.
I’m familiar with this. I remember being at a brewery where they had 2 selections that weren’t IPAs (a stout and a Pilsner) and even those 2 styles were over hopped. I happen to prefer a good pilsner over most other styles (not a Budweiser or the like, but a good strong Czech Pilsner) and people act like you’re some…
I think IPAs get unfairly blamed for what the craft/micro brewery culture did to them. At some point it was like a dick measuring contest to see who could put the most hops into a beer. Beer is about balance and flavor, not “Quintuple EXXXXXTREEEEME Hops!!!!!!!” It’s like having a competition for who can put the most…
One quibble, Luke: “And a whole Ying/Yang balance to maintain” If you’re referring to the Taoist idea of polar opposites in dynamic tension, the phrase is Yin Yang. Ying Yang is, like, slang for a butthole. Yin Yang is the Dark/Light, Female/Male, duality thing.
