I buy that Adam's into Rachel, but I still don't buy that she's into him. Not that she's into Jeremy. Jeremy may be vanilla, but Adam is French vanilla. The show creates an artificial intimacy, which Rachel would know since she works so hard to manufacture it.

I don't think Tom was idealistic about Mutiny. He was willing for Westgroup to buy Mutiny after all. And the reveal is that he set up the sale for their game to "Nintendo".

As long as you pay me. I gotta get paid.

I dunno about that Bill Harper scene. First of all, what low-level person would be tasked with touring a multibillionaire around the facility? That's a mid level job, or a sales director. Second of all, if some random person (potential client or not) started taking like that to me, at best I'd be dumbstruck with

Please tell me you're getting paid by Viacom to review this show…?

I do think Rachel was looking to discredit the abusive father, but mostly the note was to cover their behinds. I thought the greasy show owner said the note helped the police determine it was a suicide?

It's not as if the sister had anything to gain with the contents of the letter (like say, custody of her niece).

I know I'm a big fan of being on camera at 2am. That Skype glow is so flattering…

It's frustrating that Joe is smart enough to tell her the deal will screw her gaming business, but not smart enough to recommend she take the deal and add conditions to the agreement to walk after a period (along with any of her team who want to go). Five million smackeroos to start a new business, for six to twelve

Must be nice to live in a world where cops aren't suspicious of a note that magically appears to exonerate everyone.

I know it's accurate, but reading "early-’00s tastemakers like Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears" still made me cringe. Matching denim outfits, y'all.

Thank you :)

As the Son of Blackbeard, are you railing against your father's sartorial habits?

I caught part of the first session but gave up…did it get any better? I really liked the books but the lead seemed too green (and not tough enough) for the role.

Joe is a smart tactician, but not a brilliant one. He could have framed the entire cost discussion around corporate pressure, as well as spin the improvements as conforming to some corporate vision… And offered them a 30-day good faith pricing, extendable once the changes are made. Then he says part of the cost break

Josey Wales makes a good point about availability. I also don't think gamers gravitated to Apple, because most people associated Apple with either educational institutions or graphic designers/print production until the iMac came out and they became more consumer- friendly. I dunno that it's relevant to 1985/6, but

It's because Apple (especially the Macs) were crazy expensive. More people could afford a Commodore than an Apple. Plus it's my understanding that Apple's ecosystem was very restrictive to code within, where Commodore was pretty open.

If they were terrible, or if the tapes included an obviously wasted Amy in a really bad state, I'm OK with them being destroyed. Enough of her struggles played out in the public eye; give her some dignity in death.
