RIP Adam Conover

I still want a Bill Hader/Amy Poehler/Jonah Hill/SomeGuyAsJohnny FF series

what, is she going to download a full suite of Edgar Wright plugins?

Waianae is on Oahu, the western-most part. Heavily local and known to not put up with haole bullshit. Momoa is actually from there. Ezra seems to lack aloha, and so would receive none in return.

Buddy, lighten up. I can promise you life will feel better if you don’t get your panties in a twist over people living their lives differently. You’ll do better on those dating apps, too.

While you’re not wrong, I would make a counter-argument that Loki’s third episode is MUCH better when binging the show, rather than having a week to have it sit there. I just re-watched the entire series in a couple of days and was impressed at how much better it ALL plays when watched like that. The extra week did

“We have to pad this to get to X number of episodes!”
“Hmm, better make everyone kinda dumb! That should slow things way down.”
“Won’t that frustrate the viewers?!”
“You’re joking right?”

Is your mother worried? / Do you want us to assign someone to worthy your mother?

I know he’s doing the oeuvre with Strange, but having a clean slate to play with in DC with John Constantine would be amazing.

I for one liked the Dylan intro because of Lewin Davis....

It for sure has one of the best emotional payoffs I’ve ever seen in a third act.

I was surprised by how much I didn’t like Licorice Pizza being that PTA is one of my faves. But Alana Haim and Cooper Hoffman were great. I don’t know if Haim’s performance was Best Actress-worthy but for her first film, wow. And I don’t like Haim-The Band either.

If any superhero movie in the last decade other than Spider-Verse deserves spinoffs, it’s The Suicide Squad.

weirdest improvisational yodeling exhibition ever.

Make more Star Wars, only make less of it, and what you do make, make better.

Not sure I agree that Inferno is worthy of a best of list (I love Hickman, and I enjoyed it fine, but it wasn’t “top 10” good), but...
1) It’s not unfinished. The final issue came out in the first week of January.
2) If being unfinished was disqualifying, Wonder Woman: Historia (1 of 3 volumes released), The Good Asian

Kaiju #8 is a blast and I hope it gets an adaptation at some point. My favorite series, Monstress, was up and down last year, but DIE has been phenomenal in filling the grim fantasy role.

You know what Cena has going for him that Dwayne Rock Johsnon doesn’t? He’s comfortable looking ridiculous and being the butt of the joke. Dwayne has that 80's Action Star ego hang-up where his character in any given movie now has to be the toughest guy, but also the smartest, but also the most charming but also a

Warm take: everything is terrible, and lying to keep fun plot details sorta-kinda secret is ok actually.
