“Everything Everywhere All At Once” is an honourable mention.

I might be in the minority here but I would love if the Duffer brothers were considered to helm an MCU X-men movie.

While I was aware of Gravity Falls, I watched Adventure Time first and I think there was a lot deeper, more meaningful character and story elements that have gone on to influence later cartoons.

I thought the whole ‘heart of the group’ bit was a stretch as well, but I decided it made sense Will would see Mike in an outsized capacity because he’s madly in love with him.

When Steve plays Vecna’s ribs like a xylophone, he strikes the same rib twice in succession, yet he produces two clearly different tones

Steve is two days away from retirement and ready to sail on the SS Live Forever with his six nugget family. I’m sure he’ll be fine

Not gonna lie... it was oppressive at times. We all complain about certain series being light on plot.... this was the exact opposite. It was like a fire house. My significant and I broke up the final episode, though we breezed through epi 8. That 2.5 final “episode” was a lot to digest, it was almost too much, which

Yes! There are websites that list LGBTQ-friendly churches. There’s about 50 in Los Angeles.

Yeah, I think people have sort of gotten the wrong idea that every franchise’s Executive Producer is like Kevin Feige and the MCU, but Feige is pretty uncommon in his extreme control/architect role. Kennedy seems to be more operating as a traditional Executive Producer and mostly just looking for hires and rubber

That’s a fair point, Thor 1 and 2 for sure, didn’t give her much to work with but Taika is better than that. So he can bring the best out of her.

I agree and can’t say it better. Except I would add that this show occasionally reaches something like greatness in individual episodes. Like the one where Williams father in law was in that loop in season 2. Season 1 was overall pretty good but somehow less than the sum of its parts. I can’t say I really liked any

yea last season was horrendous and I hate that this post is tempting me to stick with it. I wish it was canceled last season, give these production resources to something better.

I predict some people will love it and some people will hate it.

I remember enjoying it too, as a fun don’t-think-about-it-too-much popcorn movie. Ernie Hudson, in particular, seemed to be having a blast.

I can respect that take. Hemsworth has yet to prove himself outside of the MCU, even if he was great in Rush. Outside of that it’s just a bunch of random mid-tier action thrillers that no one remembers. (But let’s be fair, he was the best part of the ill-advised 2016 Ghostbusters.)

Apatow & Kasdan have to think about their whole lives before they make a movie.

With the same information, I reach a different conclusion: he does ample research and homework to identify problems BEFORE investing too many resources, making it more likely that his projects will be successful (as they largely have been).

Someone you know, maybe even someone you love, may be secretly struggling with being Italian. Think before you speak hate.

it basically entirely occurs in the background of a montage.
