I still prefer the DS wagon..
Hardly more reliable... My father in laws 2012 JGC Limited v8 has over 110k miles on it with really no problems at all. Compare that with my 2002 Tacoma that blew a head gasket at 104k... Or my wifes Ct200h Lexus with under 40k miles that has had several little issues. Resale value is actually not all that different…
ORLY? I just went on their site and built the equivalent of this Jeep. TRD Pro 4 Runner optioned the way I would want it and to be competative with the Jeep is $44.5k. Not exactly “significantly cheaper”.
My moms Town & Country was the same way! Even had the sweet Infinity sound system.

Don’t forget the awdsome wagon Subaru ran in the Grand Am tuner series back in 05-06! This thing is still being flogged in the Pacific Northwest.

The Rover James is of course the best answer.

Is there a reason they remove the seat headrests?
Heuberger motors is the place to go for a new ej255/257 block. $1695 +$175 flat rate shipping to your door!
Rod knock. It’s what make a Subaru a Subaru.
Nope I would still take the SS over that thing. 09 tech that looks like a Durango.
Ahh yes I have witnessed and worked on a few east coast/mid west Subarus. 3 gallons of pb blaster and aero kroil then anti sieze all the things.
Easy answer. Any 2.5ej turbo Subaru. 04-16 STI and 06-14wrx. I can get that motor out in about 1.5hrs. Getting the cam gears off though. That’s a horse of a different color.
All future disputes should be settled by carrier sea cross, buoy figure 8, and Red Bull style air race with the jets. The always neutral Swiss will judge.
The first generation Sport Trac 02-06 was based on the Ford Ranger and was only available with the 4.0 cologne v6. The redesign in 07 was built on the explorer chassis and had both the 4.0 v6 and 4.6 v8 as motor options.
