Because this is a car site I have to point out that it’s true all the wildlife in Australia is trying to kill you including the kangaroos. Which is why all their SUVs, trucks and utes have “roo bars.” Canadians and Australians are appalled by our gun culture, especially when they visit and I tell them I have one

Americans love clowns? Clowns have been a staple of horror movies for decades. We had that whole online clown thing not long ago because of people’s fear of clowns. Maybe some children still like them, but we’ve been conditioned for decades to fear clowns.

Just recently I saw the aftermath of a refrigerator falling out the back of a pickup on a local 55mph road. Fortunately nobody was close behind. It was a mess. Generally I have more faith in a CDL holder to secure his load than some bozo who really should have just paid the delivery fee instead of trying to haul

Obviously that was a lie, but even if it hadn’t been... Forgetting where your gun is, should be a disqualifying factor in gun ownership.

I don’t see it any other way at this point.... They have the lead on battery tech right now, they have the lead on battery manufacturing of the said battery tech, they have a competent system for designing and programming cars, and at this point, all the legacy manufacturers are playing catch up to it and failing

I would not say wildly random. In Maine, a couple of accidents a year, often fatal, happen when logging trucks lose their loads, so to speak.

Same. In Puerto Rico, I nearly got a refrigerator to the face when the pickup I was behind reached a steep hill. The fridge slid back, hit the tailgate, and briefly escaped the iron grip of gravity.  Fortunately, my refusal to be directly behind a truck carrying anything saved my bacon.

I feel the same way about car transporters. I give those trucks a WIDE berth, especially if the road is on the bumpy side and the trailer’s bouncing around.

In 2035 ICE automakers will be out of business as the Chinese take over.  That’s what they’re doing to themselves.

I refuse to be behind even pick ups with stuff in the bed. I’ve seen shit fly out too many times. Almost had a shovel take me out that flew off a landscapers trailer, absolutely terrifying.

Lumber trucks, logging trucks, trucks carrying drill pipe (lots of that in Central Alberta)... I hate being around all of them. They’re one bad decision or bad set of circumstances away from creating multiple impalements.

I bought a pair of Gore-Tex lined snowmobile gloves at the rental place while my comrades were getting their sleds paid for. What a fantastic purchase that was.

Seeing how it’s CEO appreciation week, someone needs to show Elon some love.

But we ALL have Sbarro friends!

I mean, we’re talking typically 18 - 24 years old respectfully, in a near 7 thousand pound truck capable of going 0 - 60 in under 4 second at the slow end and under 3 seconds at the high end, and we still don’t know the crash safety rating which I will probably guess is a 4, but with a lack of conventional crumple

3AM. Inexperienced drivers, at an age known for “impressing friends/girls”. Really fast car.

Kia and Hyundai should sue Memphis for allowing rampant crime to result in the thefts of their product.

That’s a beautiful pizza sauce red...

I hate these kinds of lawsuits. An anti-theft system is not a mandatory or necessary safety feature. Worthless District of Columbia AG is suing Amazon because deliveries in areas of high criminality take longer than 2 days. Fix your revolving-door criminal justice policies you idiot and do something to actually
