That’s seriously hardcore. As a child of the ‘80s, fascinated/horrified by post-nuclear apocalyptic scenarios, doomsday stuff has always fascinated me. I’ve seen plenty: Defcon 4, Mad Max, all thos... and The Road was too much for me. I watched it once, and that was enough!

To their credit, just on seeing that picture I felt the need to see them all messily killed.

She kinda made a career out of that, didn’t she?

I like to think the same! I mean, I went to 12 years of Catholic school- I’ve put up with a hell of a lot worse than some kid poking me with his finger on a flight.

Or you could just reasonably ask the parent to be aware that their kid is touching others without permission.

Exactly! I’m not going to flip my goddamned wig or anything. I don’t like to be touched by strangers, but I’m also a (relatively) mature adult who can regulate his emotional reactions in public.

The passenger that was sitting behind him was a lady and her autistic son ... so I guess he kept getting poked and touched from behind and he started freaking out...”

Our local Taco Bell (just down the street, which is WAY too convenient) opens and closes randomly; I’m assuming there are staffing issues, but not knowing whether or not the place will be open adds a layer of delicious chaos to the whole procedure.

Well, THAT is a disturbing thought.

Depends on how they’re fucked. And with what.

Generally speaking, how far do we as a society go to protect people from misinformation and misdirection? If people are going to be so willfully stupid, where does our responsibility end at trying to keep them informed?
