Riblet > Che.
Riblet > Che.
Clever of Che to try and discredit dissenters by accusing them of coveting fame when it’s more about having a platform and an audience. It doesn’t seem to me that Che understands that the gravity is not just in the crimes themselves but in the keen awareness that Louis C.K. had about it all. I mean.. I used to quote…
I love stand up comedy in my own way—my brother used to do it pretty successfully in NYC. I have a pretty detailed understanding of the community, what makes so many of them tick, how they view themselves and the art form. At the very least--I was around them regularly for a long period of time and did a lot of…
To paraphrase other people: If Che’s wife, girlfriend, daughter (because ya know dudes like this say they are legitimate of respect) had a dude at work drop pants, wack off in front of her and block her exit all the while, and asked to come back to the workspace and the boss said “yeah, he deserves a second chance”…
Michael Che bugs the shit out of me. Part of it is his history of garbage opinions. The other part is his perma-smirk. I don’t know if that’s unfair of me - maybe his face is just like that? But it is SO fucking annoying; I can’t even watch him.
I’ve noticed that too. I might actually have some respect for him if those kind of jokes actually critiqued/made fun of racial or social issues rather than just making fun of women.
Given his long history of these kind of comments, it’s pretty shockingly myopic for Aziz to be taking him out as a tour opener right now.
Am I the only one who thinks Che and Jost are terrible on SNL?
....Boy, remember when we had Amy Pohler and Tina Fey on Weekend Update and now we’ve got this guy and Colin Jost?
What happened to Michael Che to make him like this, I wonder
Cue story written by a woman abused by Michael Che in 3...2...
Ehh, this kind of guy never gets it— all he knows is lip service. “OK, it’s been 9 months, have you girls settled down yet so we can go back to business as usual? Make me a sammich.”
Michael Che is pure garbage. His old tweets aside, he is dripping in smug disdain for women in his Weekend Update segments. I don’t know how the joke distribution works on Update... but somehow he’s always the one delivering the sexist jokes. Maybe it’s a conspiracy by the writers/producers/Jost... or maybe he’s…
michael che galloping to being the most douchebag comedian of 2018 award.
yah i’m sorry someone fucking corrected you on your own personal account of abuse, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ kinja
Michael Che not being a piece of shit would be newsworthy. That said it is amusing that he mocks people’s interest in fame while expressing a bowel movement of an opinion that no one would care a whit about if he weren’t on TV.
It was assault really, and if he hadn’t been the owner of the hotel and a millionaire then I would have reported it. But since no-one witnessed it it was a he said/she said situation. He has lawyers, I don’t. I did manage to get the local Job Center to warn people off from applying there. Little victory, but it’s…
I saw Che in Seattle (at the Neptune) like 6-7 months ago and he made a bunch of awkward trans jokes. It wasn’t very funny.
Ugh. After this, him and Jost drop down... *checks notes* oh wait sorry they were already at the bottom of my list of good hosts for things. They literally can’t fall further. Actually I’m going to go ahead and put Sean Spicer above them.
“Che reportedly compared being recognized on the street to sexual harassment.” Wait what? I work in a popular retail store and while I recognize the regulars, quite a few people on the street say hello even though I can’t remember them. That’s not harassment. In my former job being shoved in a closet and groped is.
