It was! I never knew it was what would become A&E! I just remember the jarring difference in programming. I was 7 years old in 1984. I had never seen a station “sign off”.It just stopped showing Turkey TV and started showing this weird Opera with sign language interpreters. 

That was A&E, back when that stood for Arts & Entertainment!

“Hey Arnold!” was/is great, glad you mentioned it. One of the best parts was the variety and diversity of characters. I remember loving Pinwheel and Turkey Television and YCDTOT.  I also remember a time before Nick at Nick.  After 5pm PST, Nick became this really weird opera channel.  

It better be hosted by Stick Stickly and Face or GTFO.

Oh look another specialized streaming service that could’ve been licensed out to Amazon, Hulu, or Netflix, probably for way more money than they’ll bring in on their own. Best of luck, I guess, but that’s still a no from me.
