Rock is basically dead in the mainstream sense in that its splintered off into many different sub categories. There’s good stuff out there but its kinda hard to find (at least for me at least). Based on those noms, most of those are Alt Rock and there were definitely better Alt groups and songs they could have picked

Needs more Jethro Tull.

If beauty isn’t a matter of gender, then where is Boy de Chanel’s purple eyeshadow? Oh, that’s right...

On the other hand, here’s a screenshot from Oceana’s website. Fuck ‘em.

There’s a reason this is being launched in South Korea. A lot of dudes there wear BB creams (according to a friend who lives there now), especially the youths who want to look like the K-pop idols.

All the world’s a stage, And all the men and women merely players...”

Maybe if it comes in 80's The Cure color motifs, that might be something worth looking into.

sentiment that clearly misses the point that makeup is for everyone! Whoever! Your cat!”

I wouldn’t be surprised if most of the buyers for this line are still women. That was definitely the case when several “for men” brands of nail polish launched in the mid-00s.

hes way more calm in the British version.

Yes, I’m no fan of Lena Dunham but Hannah was a fictional character. I think they’re both insufferable but I always thought the point of Girls was to show that these people aren’t the well adjusted and brilliant geniuses they think they are.

It seems unfathomable to me that they actually planted that stuff.  It’s one thing to plant frozen foods or just bad food, but manufacturing large scale health code violations seems hard to believe...  Both that they would do it on the production side and that as you said the restaurant would allow it.

This is why I hope for the day when social media dies. It has hurt us way more than it has helped. Hell, ironically (considering I’m typing in one), even comment sections. I’ll post this comment and inevitably someone will reply to call me an idiot for having my opinion. I’d rather just not have comment sections on

I remember seeing the BBC version of Kitchen Knightmares, watching an episode, then thinking, “Yes, this is much more bearable then the US version.”

Meow?

Dunham’s word-vomit earnestness offers plenty of legit fodder for mockery, but I’ll never understand why people constantly trot out this quote in particular in order to make fun of her. It’s a line she wrote for Hannah, the desperate and pathetic character she played in Girls. And even Hannah immediately realizes she

This is also why many restaurants will relaunch with a new/different name. I think that would have been the smart and easy thing for these restaurant owners to do. But now at least some starving lawyers will be able to make a few dollars over this lawsuit. Hopefully they’re not being paid in shrimp.

Funny how baby boomers - who decided that they were the wisest generation, and their wisdom came to them at inception - are now decrying a generation for deciding that they are wise, and have been since inception.

Gita with the great article! Good read and a lot of . . . unfortunate memories of social media platforms of the past and present. I find it weird that Tumblr continues to thrive in it’s way, with so little active support from Staff, and so much toxicity within communities. Yet here we are ten years after logging on
