i think his focus was on the short term gain at the expense of the long term, in modern capitalism that means maxing out this quarter even if that means losing all your workers and polluting the environment, etc. which will hurt the long term.

The only good sitcom to come on Network TV since Community. Parks and Rec and 30 Rock are exceptional, but the Good Place really subverts tropes and is constantly visually inventive. DS9's stagette for Dax wasn’t bad, as far as fake parties go.

I personally had a totally opposite experience with this episode and feel it’s one of the best of Trek ever. Out of any series.

It’s weird that this article doesn’t mention the fact that Seinfeld reversed his position during his Colbert appearance.
