Regular cab, long bed. I will NEVER drive a 4 door truck. Never.
At least use the insult ‘Karen’ correctly next time you smug douche.
Sure, but lets not pretend like most people are driving 65mph for that amount of time. The speed limits on most highways in California, after you leave the populated areas, is 70mph. The majority of drivers are driving at speeds closer to 80mph, if not faster. We aren’t the only state with highways offering a speed…
My takeaway is that the Changli’s quality is about in line with my Fiesta ST’s after 3 months..
Wrong, he built the first 5000 in a cave, from a box of scraps
I agree with everything your saying, I place alot of the blame of public ignorance on the manufacturers who have done little to advertise or promote their product because we all know consumers are the best advertising for the price. Can you imagine if Tesla actually advertised their product like a conventional luxury…
“I think the problem to address here is the idea that they want EVs to entirely replace ICE cars...” I’m going to assume you’ve never driven any Tesla model. When you do, I guarantee this: you will immediately realize no matter how new your current car is that its a dinosaur. Tesla has been in full production since…
I used to take trips that long without a stop, arrive with a headache, and then have to take time to eat anyway, so the total trip+mealtimes ends up the same either way. So it doesn’t really save time.
No. They just come on here to complain every time an electric car manufacturer ups the ante. “Unless it will go 200 miles per charge, electric will never succeed... Unless/until it can go 300 miles per charge, electric cars will be useless... Not until you can get 300 miles per charge in 30 minutes will electric cars…
In reality probably no. But if message boards are an indication, there are millions and millions of people who claim to drive 301 miles each day. Stating that EVs are a waste of time and that they will never buy one.
This is not correct. I have measured the charging efficiency of my model s and I achieve around 92% efficiency. I’m using a 240V 50 amp circuit.
Oh... I agree. Motors are super efficient, ultra compact in all different shapes as well as drive units and electronics. They are truly top notch. Even the rationale of the mechanical simplification over ICE engines is a no-brainer.
yeah, who cares. i dont think anyone in the electric car market cares 2 shits about how efficiently it uses its electrons, they only really care about how far those electrons will actually take you and how rich you will look doing it. now, if it constantly gets you stranded because you thought it would go X miles, and…
My mother is convinced that Biden’s cognitive faculties are in decline. She watched as my grandfather succumbed to Alzheimer’s and she says watching Biden speak reminds her of the early stages of Grandpa’s decline.
I like how they just basically tried to find a way to make their numbers look good. What they failed to mention was that the Tesla still went further. In the end nobody really gives a shit about the efficiency. Nice Try Volvo...
That’s not a test of efficiency, it’s a test of accuracy relative to EPA testing regime.
Most disappointing piñata ever.
There used to be more criticism towards range and the every-mythical twice-weekly cross-country trip that everybody takes. I see it’s died down to some degree the last year or two. But I’m pretty sure even on this thread there’s someone who claims any range is not enough if you have to recharge the car mid-trip, which…
