“I mean it’s just simple physics. If I get into an accident what are the chances I’m surviving? thinking in this way it becomes 1-300lb meat sack vs 3-9000lb metal box. With that said, It doesn’t make sense to give pedestrians the right of way in the road. by nature small weaker things yield to bigger things. Go to

Volume isn’t a great metric for this type of situation because there are much more drives than bicyclists. Therefore the number will always be skewed towards motor vehicles.

As much as I would love to ban trucks and SUVs outside of business registrations, I’m skeptical of your stats.

I’m all for therapy being more widely available, however it alone will not solve gun violence or even come close to making an impact. The widespread and easy access to guns is the main driver of gun violence. Countries that have lax gun laws have higher rates of gun violence. The same is even true on a state by state

The sooner “mental health” can be decoupled from gun laws, the better.

“But a normal person goes back and asks for it to be made right, instead of simmering for two years and then murdering the owner.”

I owned a 3rd gen Plymouth satellite in copper. Called it the “brown bomber” because it would backfire frequently and hard. It was also a pile of shit that would drink gas.

They are not the same.

All for it, and as others have mentioned, not coming back to a blazingly hot car in the summer is another benefit. That being said, most cities don’t have large sprawling parking lots because land = money. Would be good in suburbia, however.

The big difference here is that the government always pays. It may take them longer to execute the payment, but it will happen.  The same cannot be said about B2B or B2C.

“So the fact that they don’t have the option to break the law because we enforce the law means we don’t need to enforce the law?”

Your argument is self defeating. If people don’t have the option to break the law, as you state, then no one would need to be put in prison.

Retailers must love you. A 50% markup followed by a 10% price cut is only a “discount” when viewed at the micro level. At the macro level, it’s still an increase.

I love the Z, but I haven’t see a 400 yet in person, and they have been out for how long?

“Wow, some really great deals are out there.” “These dealers are crazy to sell a Gladiator for 33% below MSRP.” There are 664 Gladiators within 100 miles of L.A. and no one is buying.” “This is probably the best time to score a new Gladiator on the cheap.”

Never underestimate corporate greed.

The strike will also likely drive up the prices of new cars, and Tesla will adjust their prices along the same lines.

If you are WFH and don’t drive much, the cheapest solution is a cheap car or no car at all. However everyone’s situation is different.

If import restrictions or tariffs were lifted or lessened, a wave of cheaper cars would force the manufacturers to adapt.

The “lifetime” fluid thing isn’t restricted to CVTs tho. Manufacturers have been using it for all transmissions for sometime now. However I think CVTs (particularly the cheap ones) are the most sensitive to older fluid.
