I know a few Europeans who’ve either lived or worked for long periods in both Mexico and Canada. As a rule, they all think Mexico and Canada are not like America. Especially in the bordering areas - New Mexico and Michigan for example, where those differences are actually exacerbated.

Why has there never been a mass revolution / strike / walkout / crime rampage of 18-year old Americans protesting against the US’s alcohol age-limit? They’re the prime revolutionary age group!
