I’m all for paying college athletes but this is an idiotic statement. He absolutely has medical care if he is playing college athletics. Colleges/universities have mandatory hard waiver health insurance plans + NCAA Catastrophic Injury insurance that every D1 athlete.

It’s the same reason why a 2012 A8L costs only a fraction more than a 2013 Audi S4. Old rich guys no longer want to drive something old whereas the younger demographic still wants the S4, used or not.

Thank you for a reasonable approach to our deplorable behavior as Philly fans. As a lifelong Philly fan I wish that last night’s incident did not occur.

In the Philadelphia region we have both problems ... trucks trying to pass when going 5 mph different up a hill and then dumbo cars who think that they drive faster than trucks. These asshats love to park in the left, or middle lane driving slower than traffic on the right.

Good decisions can lead to unfortunate outcomes. The Sixers have been unlucky to not end up with their guy in each draft ... It doesn’t mean that it wasn’t the right strategy.

This thought terrifies me as well with 3 children. In high school, I thought I was boss with a 1990 Z24 manual ... Seemed fast but honestly maybe 115 horsepower by the time I got it with 200K+ miles. Somehow I hit 110mph ... Imagine idiot me with 7X more horsepower. Terrifying.
