I didnt read most of the article, but I did watch the video (my first time seeing it), and to me this is 100% preventable if eyes were looking forward anytime 5 seconds before impact.

Maybe if I drove a Tesla I’d understand better, but I really struggle to understand how we’re going to get through this intermediate period before cars can truly drive themselves.
