“Kim and Kloe shoplift Dior sunglasses just to feel alive”

Simple. They want a rush from doing something they know is illegal. They also are comfortable that between being rich and white, they’ll be able to remedy by just acting indignant and paying for whatever they were trying to steal. Plus there’s a bit of entitlement thrown in there somewhere.

It’s the same reason rich people bribe prestigious universities to admit their dumb kids.

When I was six, I went to see Benji. One of the previews was for Jaws. It scared the crap out of me and, no, I did not go in the water that next summer.

Maybe the person who robbed kim was the sunglasses employee trying to get the glasses back.

How come people always talk about faith getting them through a very public scandal AFTER they’ve done bad things? Where was your faith BEFORE you intentionally decided to be a selfish asshole?

Similarly watched a slew of inappropriately rude, sexual, cussing previews when I took two girls (primary school-aged) to see A Wrinkle in Time. I actually went out to the lobby to ask WTF?

I used to be a projectionist when the cinemas still used 35mm reals and this happened to us as well. It was usually because of an error when un-mounting the movie. It’s quite easy to tag the wrong trailer with the tag of a different one or to miss the cut-off between 2 trailer and roll both together.

Fun Fact: Frequent cannibalistic practices will literally drive you insane. When you eat your own kind it creates prions in the brain leading to neurodegenerative diseases. It was a major issue during the Mad-Cow epidemic some years ago.

You see, environmental policy IS a women’s rights issue. If all women had control over family planning and their bodies, the threat of overpopulation would greatly decrease.

What do you think Trump would taste like?

As a parent, I draw the line at helping to create a situation that would prompt my child to consider selling their body as a means of survival. Ejecting your daughter from her home and allowing her to be destitute is lazy, heartless, and should not be conflated with “love”.

All the more reason NOT to kick her out. If you kick someone out in those circumstances, where do you think they will turn? To the older heroin addict, who will then proceed to get them hooked too.

When my daughter was having a hard time finding a job, I told her, “as long as I have a roof, you have a roof. I can’t promise that it will be ideal, or even comfortable. But you will never be homeless as long as I’m not.”

I am in the same place and I cannot imagine for a second leaving my child homeless. I just don't understand how anyone could do that to their child.

As the parent of an adult daughter who hasn’t always made decisions that I would have wanted her to make, let me be the first to say you don’t kick your kids out of the house just because they quit college if you “love them very much.”

Getting kicked out of your home is rarely perceived as an act of love.

Thank you for this link! There is so much amazing here. But this one <chef’s kiss>:

Looks like I’m gonna need to buy that dog print to go in my gallery.
