“Your baby can pee inside your uterus” is way less marketable for the anti-abortion crowd.

It’s not even an actual heart. It’s twitching muscle cells that will develop into a heart

These laws have nothing to do with babies, and everything to do with power over, and control of, women. The fact that there are no exceptions for rape of incest proves that they do not give a flying fuck about women.  We have no other value than our womb, and it doesn’t even belong to us, it belongs to men.

Even though this is no surprise, this is devastating to those of us who have been fighting different versions of this horrible heartbeat bill for years. I love my city (Cleveland), but hate the draconian laws the rest of the state forces on us.

Canada, any interest in annexing us? I know people joke about Cleveland,

But she said viability is a “moving target” because it varies based on the part of the world where a pregnant woman lives or the point in time when advancements in medical technology occurred.

Red & Green are the New Orange

Yeah, I feel bad for the kids involved. Some of them might be pieces of shit, but others might just be the victim of a long line of hijinks of a narcissistic parent.

Throwing away their chance to make A Prison Christmas.

I have no words. So angry and sad for every woman that this will affect.

Schadenfreude is always going to be strong in cases like this, but you’re not wrong to feel bad.

Naw, I bet a lot of people feel this way. Yeah, I kind of hate her instinctually because rich and “influencer,” but this sound like her parents led (nay, dragged) her down this path. Her parents can rot in jail, but she gets a pass in my mind. What was she going to do, report her parents to the cops? Even if almost an

Same. I hate that people are piling on her specifically instead of other kids and her parents. It’s clear she didn’t want to college and her parents forced her into it and a lot of parents do that.

Probably an unpopular opinion. But I kind of feel bad for her she didn’t even want to go to college she said before her parents pressured her. And although she was complicit the adults in the room thought this was a good idea and funded it. At that age I would do anything my mom wanted.

Oddly enough, she would be 100% in the right to think that. Girl couldn't even be bothered to fill out her own damn college applications. At that point, her parents should have said, "Okay go take selfies and bartend in Europe for awhile."

I imagine her saying “OMG mom!!!! I’m literally going to die right now over this! How could you ruin my life?!? I never even wanted to go to college!!!”

I don’t feel bad for her but I think it’s shady and opportunistic as hell that jezebel is making her the face of the scandal when she’s not even one of the people who’s been indicted. She’s just one to the kids whose parents bribed oficials. The criminals are the parents and the network of scammers and coaches who

I don’t know how I should feel about this. I mean, on the one hand there’s a certain amount of guilty delight as seeing somebody who’s had everything handed to them take a fall, especially in light of her comments about a school that many, many others would’ve been delighted to attend (and possibly worked hard to

Have you seen the lastest thing of teens getting vaccinated behind their anti-vax parents backs? I love it

The hilarious (tragic) thing is that his parents’ control over this aspect of his life could be easily undone by his own choices. If he ever decides to travel for work or leisure? He’ll need to get vaccinated. Same if he wants to go to a college that doesn’t allow exemptions and/or if exemption laws have changed by

It really doesn’t. Before I got my job now, I was working in a fancy, private preschool that ran from 8-1 and barely made 10k a year. I loved it, but it wasn’t paying my bills and working 10+ hour days because I needed a second job was starting to take its toll.
