Women, as far as I know, live in fear of being raped by men, not trans women. I would never dismiss a woman’s fear of men (feel free to cite where I actually did so). I will dismiss transphobia, however.

I disagree. How many not-actually-trans-but-cisgendered men have tried to pull this stunt to get into women’s bathrooms? Can anybody cite a single time that it’s happened? And if they can, can they then demonstrate that this is a pervasive problem? They cannot.
