The GOG Cut version is unfortunately 2 years late in terms of update and several mods compiled also got several updates since. In addition, it has several optional settings that are disabled by default. Daggerfall Unity’s creator wrote an article on the subject 2 weeks ago : https://github.com/Interkarma/daggerfall-un

It’s outdated and broken, the mod authors don’t support that version. stay far away.

If you play using the “GOG Cut” release of Daggerfall Unity, please consider this version is now almost two years out of date and comes preloaded with dozens of mods. It’s buggy, slow, and completely changes how the game looks and plays. The Daggerfall Unity development team did not assemble the “GOG Cut” release

>Starfield was perfectly fine. Skyrim? Nope.

Yeah, Cyberpunk fixed a lot, but the main difference for me is that the story and characters were always interesting. The main story might not be everyones cup of tea, but all the side characters already had amazing personalities and story arcs tied into amazing quests.

I played it for an hour and uninstalled. Just bad. I still don’t understand how some game designer who gets paid money for what he does thinks being able to run yourself to death is a good idea

Yes, Cyberpunk’s early issues were clear mistakes. The developers clearly didn’t intend for cars to be falling from the sky or NPC’s to be taking off on invisible motorcycles. CDPR’s response to 2077's disastrous launch was that it needed to be fixed.

I know there’s at least some people who enjoy Starfield, but to me it’s a classic case of “do the least effort possible because we have enough goodwill that we can get away with it”.

Musk is so immensely smart that he circumnavigated the universe back to stupid. It’s actually quite a feat...

That’s how mine is, Subaru uses Android Auto and whatever the Apple equivalent is when you plug the phone in.

Still can’t complete the final mission of Starfield because of a game-breaking glitch, great stuff GOTY

Rise of Kong, so buggy even the image for the article did not want to load.

Holy crap someone else who actually remembers the days where people were mad that Valve were the arbiters of what got released on PC.

there used to be something like that...but people complained about Valve “Gatekeeping”...so they changed it to $100 and you can put up your game.

I’d be hesitant to back anything coming out of Russia, how was this a surprise?

For every clever Hollywood story about using short people, kids, etc there’s a lot of people behind the scenes that need to make their costuming, hair, and makeup work to fool audiences into thinking these are taller people or adults. Those aren’t free dollars. A lot of movies are saved by the unsung heroes in

Casablanca used people with Dwarfism in the last scenes so they could use a scale model of the plane Ilsa and Viktor leave on instead of a full sized one.

Spielberg did it on Jaws.

He wasn’t involved with Alien.

That’s plenty of time to generate more barren planets for players to walk around in and go “You know, I could be playing Baldur’s Gate 3 RIGHT NOW”
